One developer, from first sketch to handover

Design, code, launch and getting found, with one person accountable throughout. Each service links to proof you can check, because “trust me” isn't a portfolio.

Something else? Ask anyway. If it's new to me, I'll say so up front, then prove the hard part with a small working version before you commit. Describe it

Process

No big reveal at the end

Four steps, scaled to the size of the job. You see working pieces early, while changes are still cheap. Each step links to a project where it happened.
  1. Discover

You explain the problem in your own words. A rough idea is enough.

The college website was built around what office staff update themselves: every page, documents and notices.

  2. Plan and design

We agree on the approach, the screens, the budget and the scope before I write much code.

The quotation tool became a desktop app because the data is internal and the office already uses Windows PCs.

  3. Build and test

You try it in small pieces as it's built, while changes are still cheap. Each piece is tested before you see it.

The college site ran first as a public preview, then moved to its own server as the admin panel grew.

  4. Launch and support

I deploy it and hand it over, with documentation, backups and admin screens your staff can use. Support after launch is agreed up front.

The inventory system shipped with a Windows installer and was handed over to college staff, who use it.

Have an idea or a question?

Ask me in your own words. A half-formed idea is fine; working out the rest is my job. No commitment, and you'll usually hear back within two working days.
